Betalbatim is one of the quieter beaches that has somehow managed to get its fair share of development. Surprisingly a beach so well developed still managing to hold on to its title of being lonely and secluded, Betalbatim has won the hearts of tourists and has earned an ardent bunch of loyalists flocking the beach time and again.

Places To Go in Betalbatim

Betalbatim is one of the better known and considerably well developed beaches in the South of Goa so finding reasonable lodgings shouldn’t be a problem. There are many well known and frequented resorts and hotels there, such as Villagio, A Sterling  Holidays Resort, Beleza by the Beach, Jasminn Hotel, Alagoa Resort along with many others. If that doesn’t suit your fancy then there are always guest rooms that can be rented out.

Since Betalbatim gets its fair share of tourists, restaurants, bars and various eating franchises flock to the area. You’ll always find a place to satisfy your cravings while you are here. Some of the better known restaurants are Martin’s Corner, Anri’s Place along with others.

You can also head to Greenlands, Casa Nostra Restaurant and Kaveenash to grab a quick bite and relax during your stay.

Things To Do in Betalbatim

Dolphins are a common site near the shores of Betalbatim and the local fishermen offer a ride to the tourists to catch a glimpse of the Dolphins, albeit for a small price. All you need to do is ask!

All thanks to its seclusion, you can go for a peaceful walk across the shore and enjoy a day at the spa at one of the various luxurious resorts situated around Betalbatim.

How To Get to Betalbatim

Located between Majorda and Colva, this quiet beach in the Salcete sub District of South Goa gets its fair share of tourists for that very reason. To get Betalbatim just travel South along the National Highway till you reach the Margao junction, take a right and follow the road until you reach Betalbatim.
