The 7th annual Goa Fest 2014 kick started yesterday resulting in a huge number of media saving folk flocking into Goa from across the country. This three day South Asian advertising festival is a yearly hotspot for those who believe in the power of Advertising. A ‘must-attend’ event for people involved in Marketing, Advertising, Media and allied Services currently on at the Grand Hyatt, Bambolim. Running May 29th, 30th, 31st | Entry by Registration Only
Mandi is on day five of their second Art & Craft Festival. An event celebrating both local and Bengali artisans, showcasing their diverse products and craft techniques at their location in Betalbatim. Ray’s Atelier is hosting ‘The Art of Wine Tasting’ at their gallery in Colva in association with Sula Vineyards. An evening spent with one of Sula’s Sommeliers as they explain all you need to know about wine,its varying types and qualities along with tasting, serving, and storage. For all you music lovers, Art Escapes Live Music Project is still running full at the Live Lounge this Saturday night. This weekend being all about Funk, Rock and Reggae with a line up including Shayne Ballantyne on Lead Guitar, Graeme Hamilton on Vocals/Horn & Keys, Richard Carrasco on bass and Vivek Philip on Drums. And as for Sunday, what’s better than closing your weekend with a much needed brunch. Our go to spots included Bodega in Panjim, Cafe De Goa for anyone closer to the north, Ruta’s World Cafe in Margao and of course The Marriott for those of you looking to splurge.
