Last week we had the pleasure of attending the launch of Cinnamon Lofts, a project developed by Jyoti (Joe) Vadgama in the heart of Nerul, Goa.
And we have to admit, we were impressed.
From the building's overall aesthetic to the finest of finishes in each individual room, the team behind Cinnamon Lofts have truly gone above and beyond to design a space that is luxurious yet understated. For nothing is too over the top. However the level of attention to detail is evident in the quality and consistency found throughout.
Developed by Vadgama Real Estates with interior styling by Carolina Paez of The Design Wall, the newly opened space offers a set of 18 luxury apartments inspired by New York industrial lofts. Built in an environmentally conscious manner, keeping both village & visitor in mind, Cinnamon Lofts reflects the ethos & standards of today while using as much locally sourced materials & furniture as possible.
The building offers everything from studio apartments to 2 BHK luxury rooms, 3 BHK luxury rooms and 2 spectacular penthouses with unsurpassed vistas of Goa’s lush green landscapes and the Nerul river.
All apartments, except studio rooms, are fitted with a washing machine, oven, microwave, freezer, refrigerator, electric kettle, tea/coffee tray, a dining table and large private living and balcony spaces.
Many of the interiors are made of up-cycled construction materials, salvaged during the build. Such as the elegant kitchen cabinets in each apartment that once served as shuttering for newly made pillars and columns. Walking through the rooms it was obvious that not a single inch of space went unnoticed during the design as every item held its space. All of the art & photography found throughout the building have also been curated by The Design Wall and contributed by the local artist, Maria Philipose.
All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with showers and organic toiletries.
The Penthouses, keeping with the luxury of it all, each have a large private plunge pool and terrace with unmatched views of the neighbouring churches, green hills and the meandering Nerul river.
Most of Cinnamon Lofts' friendly & welcoming staff have also been hired from the surrounding village and are professionally trained to ensure the utmost comfort & convenience of your stay. Upon arrival, each guest is equipped with a handbook outlining the features & facilities of the space in addition to providing local contact numbers & valuable insight into the many amenities & activities available around Goa.
