Semana da Cultura Indo Portuguese | Panjim and Margao
The seventh edition of the Semana da Cultura Indo-Portuguese in Goa is getting under way and just like the previous years, there will be a mix of Indian and Portuguese culture. The exhibition will involve, art, cinema, music, cuisine and a lot more.
There will be a tonne of separate exhibitions stretching the entire expanse of the two days. Some of them are the Moments, Memory & Memorabilia’ exhibition by Savia Viegas at Sunaparanta, which is an exhibition of her work at Sunaparanta on the 7th and 8th of November. This same event will later move down South to Carpe Diem from the 10th to the 14th of November.
The photographs were clicked by Savia Viegas over the last two years and other were collected, the collection has some photos clicked as long ago as 1861.
There would also be interactive sessions with Goan Diaspora, a singing competition, music workshops, a film festival and a two-day music and food festival.
