The lonely Velsao Beach is known for its white shells and starfish infested sands and coconuts trees that line the roads as well as a large part of the beach. This beach offers solace from the typical tourist crowds that flock most of the other beaches in Goa. No annoying loud chatter, no hawkers pestering you and certainly no dirty beaches. All you get is a beautiful long stretch of white sand to stroll down, lie on, sunbathe on or whatever other form of relaxation that you like.
Places to Visit in Velsao
The Velsao beach is quietly tucked away from the hustle of the rest of Goa and so there really is no fancy place to go to here. Local bars of course are aplenty, it still is Goa after all.
Pifran’s Holiday Beach resort is one of the few resorts you will find in Velsao. But as good as it looks on the outside, recent patrons of this resort don’t have very pleasant things to say as this resort is not as well maintained as one would expect it to be.
